In Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, a woman returning with her husband on a bike after attending a wedding ceremony died in a road accident. The husband has filed a case against the unknown driver. The police took the body into custody and sent it to the district hospital for postmortem.
The incident took place in Akalpur village of Matsena police station area. Village resident Narendra Singh had gone to Etah with his wife Bina (45) to attend a wedding ceremony at his in-laws’ place. On Monday morning, he was returning home with his wife on a bike. An unknown vehicle coming from behind hit him near Nagla Imaliya on the Etah-Shikohabad road.
After the accident, the driver fled with the vehicle and the woman riding the bike, Bina, died on the spot due to the accident. Her husband suffered minor injuries. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. The police reached the spot after getting information and gathered information about the incident.
The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The husband filed a complaint accusing an unknown driver of negligent driving and hitting her. The police have registered a case. Police station in-charge Anjish Kumar Singh said that the woman died in a road accident. Action is being taken by registering a case.
